ASPARAGUS VEGETABLE CASSEROLE Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 can asparagus, drained
  • 1 can English peas, drained
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup (undiluted)
  • 1 can water chestnuts
  • 14 ounces grated cheddar cheese
  • 6 slices bread, edges trimmed and cut inch half
Directions
Grease 9 x 13 inch casserole dish and layer in order as named. Dredge bread in melted butter and place on top. Bake at 350° until bread is crisp, approximately twenty minutes.
