Hominy Casserole 21 Recipe

  • 4 slices bacon,fried (reserving drippings)
  • 2 slices Onion, chopped
  • 1 can sliced mushrooms, drained (14 ounce can)
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 can hominy, drained (29 ounce can)
  • 1 can Rotel (10 ounce can)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Crumble fried bacon, Saut onion and pepper in drippings. Add remaining ingredients, except cheese. Cook 20 - 30 minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Alternate layers of hominy and cheese in a greased 2 qt casserole dish ending with cheese. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes. Serves 6.
