Harvard Beets 20 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 can beets, diced (reserve 2/3 cup beet juice; add water if needed)
  • 2 tablespoons flour or 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar
  • 2/3 teaspoon salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
Directions
Mix dry ingredients. Add liquid and mix well. Place over heat until it begins to thicken. Stir in beets and heat to a boil.
