Creamed Peas and Corn Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 package frozen peas (10 ounce package)
  • 1 package frozen corn (10 ounce package)
  • White Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
Directions
Cook peas and corn as directed. While vegetables are cooking, make white sauce. Melt butter in saucepan. Add flour. Cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Add milk, salt and pepper. Stir. Cook until thick. Remove from heat. Drain vegetables. Add white sauce. Mix well and serve immediately.
