Russian Dill Pickles 2 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 teaspoon mixed pickling spices
  • 3 cups cider vinegar
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 red dried picking pepper OR 1 teaspoon chopped dried peppers
Directions
Put dill in jar and cut pickles lengthwise and pack tight. Boil syrup and pour over pickles in jars. Top with warm lids in hot water bath for 10 minutes. Makes two quarts.
