Barley Vegetable Saute Recipe

  • 2 butter or margarine
  • 1 onion, chopped (1 cup) (large)
  • 1 red or yellow bell pepper, chopped (1 cup)
  • 1 garlic, crushed
  • 4 cooked barley
  • 2 chopped fresh thyme or 2 teaspoon dried
  • 1/2 Salt
  • 1 frozen whole kernel corn, thawed
  • 1 frozen Lima beans, thawed
Melt butter in 10" skillet over med.high heat. Cook onion, bell pepper and garlic in butter about 2 min., stirring occasionally, until bell pepper is crisp-tender. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cook about 5 min. stirring occasionally, until hot.
