Tomato Pie 11 Recipe

  • 1 unbaked pie shell (9-inch)
  • 4 tomatoes, sliced, seeds removed (medium)
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons basil
  • 1/2 cup mayo (not Miracle Whip)
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese
  • salt
  • pepper
Place a row of tomato slices in pie shell. Mix remaining ingredients. Place a layer of onion and cheese mixture on tomatoes, another layer of tomatoes, then onion and cheese layer, topping with a layer of tomatoes. Bake at 375° for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
