Cranberry Applesauce Recipe

Ingredients
  • 6 cooking apples (medium)
  • 2 cups cranberries
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Directions
Wash, peel and core apples. Place all ingredients in deep cooking pot. Cover and cook on high until steaming. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes. Push through strainer to remove any cranberry skins or puree in food processor. Serve hot or cold - perfect for Thanksgiving.
