Bread Stuffing 6 Recipe

  • 3/4 cup minced onion
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 9 cups soft corn bread cubes
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons crushed sage leaves
  • 1 teaspoon thyme leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 raw egg
  • 1 quart two 16 ounce Cans) either turkey broth or chicken broth.
In large skillet cook and stir onion and celery in butter until onion is tender. In a large bowl mix all ingredients. Use more broth if necessary to make stuffing moist. Bake in large 9 x 12 baking pan. Bake in 350° oven at least 30 minutes.
