Best Potato Casserole Recipe

  • 1 package frozen, shredded hash browns
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons onion, minced
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • Topping
  • 3/4 cup butter, melted
  • 2 cups Corn Flakes, crushed
Mix melted butter, onion, soup, sour cream, whipping cream, salt and pepper together. Add hash browns and mix well. Spread in a 9" x 13" pan. Sprinkle cheese on top. For topping: Melt butter and leave in pan, off burner. Mix in crushed corn flakes. Spread on top. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
