Pineapple Casserole 13 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 4 slices bread (white or whole wheat)
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 can crushed pineapple (16 ounce can)
  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 stick butter, melted
Directions
Remove crusts from bread and save. Tear bread into large pieces and place in mixing bowl. Mix flour and sugar together and pour over bread. Add pineapple, eggs and butter. Mix well. Pour mixture into greased 8 X 8 pan or baking dish. Scatter reserved bread crusts over top, pressing down to moisten slightly. Bake 1 hour at 350°.

Serves 6 to 8. Can be used as dessert or side dish.
