Black Raspberry Bars Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup margarine
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 3/4 cups plain flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon soda
  • 1 1/2 cups rolled oats
  • 12 ounces black raspberry preserves or any preserve
Directions
Cream margarine and sugar. Add flour, soda and salt sifted together. Mix well. Stir in rolled oats. Press half of crumb mixture into 13x9 inch pan. Spread with preserves, cover with remaining crumb mixture. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes. Cool 5 minutes, cut into bars. Makes about 24 bars.
