Fudge with Nuts Recipe

  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
Combine sugar, cocoa and milk. Stir over low heat until sugar is dissolved.

Then bring to boil. Stir occasionally and cook to 236 degrees or soft ball stage; remove from heat.

Add butter and vanilla. Do not stir. Allow to cool 15 minutes.

Then beat until thickened.

Stir in nuts and quickly pour into 8 inch pan. Cut into squares.
