Meringues (Kisses) Recipe

Ingredients
  • 4 egg whites
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
Beat egg whites with salt until stiff and dry. Add sugar slowly, 2 T. at a time. Add vanilla, continue beating. Place by teaspoonfuls on a heavily greased cookie sheet. Bake at 250°, 50 minutes, or make large meringues good served with ice cream.
