Chili Rice Dinner Recipe

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/3 cup onion, diced
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 10 ounces frozen corn
  • 1 cup bell pepper, diced
  • 1 can tomato sauce (5 ounce can)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup Minute rice
  • 1 cup grated cheddar
Brown beef and onion in a large skillet; drain.

Add spices, corn, bell pepper, tomato sauce, and water. Cover and bring to a full boil, stirring occasionally.

Stir in rice, reduce heat, cover and simmer 5 minutes.

Sprinkle with cheese before serving.
