2-Bean Turkey Chili Recipe

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, mashed
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 cup green pepper, chopped
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pinch sugar
  • 1 can crushed tomatoes (28 ounce can)
  • 1 can tomato sauce (8 ounce can)
  • 1 can red kidney beans, drained (16 ounce can)
  • 1 can chili beans, drained (16 ounce can)
Heat oil in large skillet; brown garlic, onion and turkey; Add green pepper, chili powder, cayenne pepper, salt, sugar, tomatoes, tomato sauce and beans. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
