Cabbage Salad 36 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 ounces sliced almonds
  • 1 package Coleslaw Mix (16 ounce pkg)
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion (less)
  • 1/2 cup chopped red pepper (less)
  • 5 green onions, chopped
  • 1 can water chestnuts (8 ounce can)
  • 2 cups chow mein noodles
  • Dressing
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Directions
Scatter almonds on baking sheet, toast 5-6 minutes. Combine all ingredients but noodles. Chill. Right before serving, add noodles.
