Chocolate Caramel Fondue Recipe

Huddle around the fondue pot with the ones you love to enjoy this decadent dessert. Each person will have their favorite fruit or cake they like dipped in the creamy chocolate. Be sure you have enough of the dippers!

  • 16 ounces chocolate chips (milk, dark or semisweet)
  • 1 1/2 cups whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup caramel topping
  • 3 tablespoons hazelnut or vanilla syrup (optional)

Place all ingredients in a fondue pot over low heat. Stir until the mixture is melted and smooth.

Serve with an assortment of dipping foods such as strawberries, bananas, apples, grapes, brownies, marshmallows, cheesecake cubes, cream puffs, etc.

"We made this on Christmas night and it was the perfect ending to our holiday. The caramel adds just the right touch to the chocolate. I used a double boiler to melt everything. Bananas were my favorite!"
