Bean Soup 24 Recipe

  • 3 slices Bacon
  • 2 cups boiled beans
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Salt, pepper and paprika
Cook bacon; add to beans. Add cold water and cook until beans are soft, then rub through strainer. Place on the fire and add a little more water, if needed. The soup must not be too thick. Blend with flour and butter. Cook 2 to 3 minutes, then season with a dash of pepper, salt and paprika.
