Spinach Salad with Hot Bacon Dressing Recipe

  • 2 bunches spinach
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Water
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 6 slices bacon
Wash spinach and shake excess water off to dry. Tear carefully into bite size pieces. Tear bacon into pieces and fry til crunchy. Add the other ingredients and set aside until ready to serve. Pour the dressing over the spinach just before serving. May also add sliced water chestnuts, mandarin oranges, bean sprouts and/or eggs.
