Sausage Pasta Soup 3 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 pound Italian Sweet Sausage
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 can stewed tomatoes (undrained and cut up) (28 ounce can)
  • 1 can beef broth (13 1/2 ounce can)
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 ounces uncooked rotini (1/1/4 cup)
Directions
Remove casing from sausage, In a large saucepan or dutch oven over medium heat, brown sausage and onion. Drain excess fat. Stir in tomatoes, broth and water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 15 minutes. Add rotini, simmer 15 minutes more or until pasta is tender. Makes 4 servings. Best if made the day before and past added the second day.
