English Beef Soup Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 pound Ground chuck
  • 2 onions (medium)
  • 1 cup celery
  • 1 cup carrots
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 can V-8 Juice (12 ounce)
  • 1 can chopped tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon Worchestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup regular rice (uncooked)
  • 12 cups water (use 1 beef bouillon cube for each cup water)
Directions
Brown beef in 2 T cooking oil. Add all ingredients except rice. Cook until tender. Stir in rice and cook 30 minutes longer.
