Japanese Noodle Salad Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 package Coleslaw Mix (16 ounce pkg)
  • 1 or 2 bunches of chopped green onions
  • 1 package approx. 3/4 cup sunflower seeds
  • 2 packages sliced almonds, toasted
  • 2 packages Oriental or Chicken flavored Ramen noodles
  • Dressing
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup white wine vinegar or rice vinegar
  • 2 packages seasoning from the Ramen noodle packages
Directions
!. Toast almonds at 350 for 15 - 20 minutes

2. Break up Ramen noodles or roll with a rolling pin while still in bag.

3. Set aside flavor packets.

4. Toss coleslaw, broken noodles, almonds, sunflower seeds and onions together.

Dressing:

1. Whisk together the dressing ingredients or shake in a jar and pour over salad right before serving.

2. Mix salad well with dressing and enjoy!
