Asparagus Salad 5 Recipe

  • 1 can cream of asparagus soup
  • 1 - 3 ounce box lime Jello
  • 1 package cream cheese, softened (8 ounce pkg)
  • 1 can asparagus cut inch small pieces
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 3/4 cup Chopped Celery
  • 1 tablespoon grated onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
Heat soup - no water - to boiling. Add Jello dry and mix. Stir until dissolved. Add softened cream cheese and stir. Add water and mayonnaise. Add green peppers, celery, onion and nuts. Mix well. Pour into 10 X 6" glass dish and chill until firm. This recipe is great for salad luncheons.
