Asparagus Salad 5 Recipe

  • 1 can cream of asparagus soup
  • 1 box lime Jello (3 ounce box)
  • 1 package cream cheese, softened (8 ounce pkg)
  • 1 can asparagus, cut into small pieces
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup green pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 3/4 cup celery, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon onion, grated
  • 1/2 cup pecans or walnuts, chopped
Heat soup, no water, to boiling.

Add Jello and mix. Stir until dissolved.

Add softened cream cheese and stir.

Add water and mayonnaise.

Add green peppers, celery, onion and nuts. Mix well.

Pour into 6x10" glass dish and chill until firm.
