Potato Soup 117 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 6 potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 2 carrots, grated
  • 1/2 onion, minced
  • 2 quarts water
  • 5 slices bacon, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 6 tablespoons flour
  • 1 1/2 cups Milk
  • 1 cup half-and-half
Directions
In large pot, cook bacon pieces.

Add carrots and onion and sauté.

Add water and potatoes and cook until potatoes are tender.

In bowl, mix flour, milk, and half-and-half.

Add flour mixture to soup, stirring.

Turn soup to low and simmer until thickened.

Add salt and pepper to taste.
