Diet Vegetable Soup That Tastes Far From Diet Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 pounds ground beef or turkey, lean
  • 5 3/4 cups tomato juice
  • 1 cup Stewed Tomatoes
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons basil
  • 2 tablespoons Oregano
  • 2 tablespoons dried onion flakes
  • 2 cups chopped celery
  • 1 cup sliced carrots
  • 1 cup canned mushrooms, drained
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cups green beans
  • 2 cups cabbage, sliced
  • 1/2 - 1 t. pepper or to taste
Directions
In pot, brown ground beef or turkey, drain grease. Combine all ingredients with meat. Simmer 2 hours.
