OLIVE GARDEN PASTA FAZOLE SOUP Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 pound Italian sausage
  • 1 onion, chopped (medium)
  • 1/2 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 cup celery, chopped
  • 2 carrots, cut fine (Julienne)
  • 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 can red beans, drained
  • 1 can white beans, drained
  • 1 can diced tomatoes and juice
  • 1 cup spaghetti sauce
  • 1 cup chicken broth (may need more)
  • 1 cup cooked pasta (1/2 cup dry) Ditalini
  • 2 teaspoons Italian herbs
Directions
Brown meat; add onion, pepper, carrots, and celery. Sauté until tender. Add remaining ingredients. Salt and pepper to taste. If too thick, add more chicken broth and water. Better if made early and allowed to sit before serving. Serve with garlic bread.
