Ultimate Tortilla Soup Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 jar Canyon Foods Tortilla Soup
  • 2 cups Central Market Organics Chicken Broth
  • 1 can diced Mexican-style tomatoes (12 to 15 12 ounce can)
  • 16 ounces Easy Melt cheese, cubed
  • 2 tablespoons Adams Reserve Mirepoix
  • 1 package fully cooked chicken (breast or thigh) fajitas
Directions
1. Pour soup, broth, and tomatoes into a 6-quart pot. Bring mixture to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to medium. Add cheese and Mirepoix and heat until cheese melts. Stir occasionally and reduce heat to a low simmer.

2. Add frozen chicken fajitas during last 5 or 10 minutes of heating time and heat thoroughly.

3. Serve soup garnished with green onions and tortilla strips.
