Wild Rice & Turkey Soup Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 turkey legs (or an entire cooked pheasant)
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can chicken broth or 2 boullion cubes
  • 2 potatoes
  • 3 carrots
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 2 tablespoons onion
  • 1/2 cup wild rice cooked 45 minutes, drain and set aside
Directions
Cook turkey legs in 4-5 cups water and remove bones. Can be done in the crock pot. Add the rest of the ingredients except the rice. Cook until vegetables are soft. Add rice just before serving.

If you are a hunter, use pheasant or holiday leftover turkey. This is an easy recipe that works well in the crock pot.
