Combine first seven ingredients; sprinkle with lemon juice. Moisten with may; chill. Serve in miniature cream puffs. Makes enough for 4 dozen.
Chicken Filling:
Substitute finely chopped chicken for the tuna in the above recipe.
Omit the cucumber. Chopped egg is optional.
Ham Filling:
use coarsely ground ham, chopped celery, some finely chopped onion, sweet pickle relish to taste, Miracle Whip, and a little prepared mustard; mix lightly together.
Cheese Filling:
3 8 oz. pkg. Cream Cheese, softened
2 5 oz. bottle Old English Cheese Spread
finely chopped nuts
Put cheeses in a small bowl; blend together with electric hand mixer. Stir in nuts and fill miniature cream puffs.
Cheese Filling 2:
1 lb. Sharp Cheese
1 lb. Mild Cheese
1 C. Evaporated Milk or other
Heat cheeses to melting in double boiler; cool. Add evaporated milk with miracle whip; mix well. Remove top from puff; add cheese mix; put lid on. Cover top with powdered sugar icing then dip in ground walnuts. Good!
