Vegetables for soup or stew Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 heads cabbage - cut inch pieces (medium heads)
  • 2 bunches carrots - peeled and sliced
  • 6 peppers - red and green - cut up (large)
  • 2 bunches celery - cut up
  • 6 onions - cut up (large)
  • 1 peck tomatoes - cut up
Directions
Mix well - pack in quart jars. Cover with water - add 1 tsp. canning salt.

Seal and cold pack for about 3 hours. Can add a little corn and few beans or any other vegetables. When you open a jar to use, add cut up potatoes and left over meat. Cook until potatoes are done. Makes the best soup.
