Napa Cabbage Noodle Salad Recipe

  • 5/8 head napa cabbage, shredded (large head)
  • 5/8 package ramen noodles, crushed (3 ounce package)
  • 1/4 cup plus 2 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • 1 1/2 ounces blanched slivered almonds
  • 1/4 cup plus 2 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup plus 1 tbl. canola oil
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup plus 2 tbl. white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon plus 1/2 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon plus 2 teaspoon white vinegar
In a large bowl, mix the chopped cabbage, sesame seeds, almonds, and olive oil. Chill 30 minutes before serving.

To prepare the dressing, mix the canola oil, soy sauce, sugar, balsamic and white vinegars in a blender until smooth.

Just before serving toss the dressing and noodle/cabbage mixture together.
