Vegetable Beef Soup 12 Recipe

  • 1 pound cooked diced beef
  • 1 onion diced (small)
  • 1/2 clove garlic minced
  • 6 stalks diced celery
  • 3 peeled, diced carrots
  • 2 peeled, diced potatoes (medium)
  • 2 1/2 quarts water
  • 4 cubes beef base
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon pepper
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/3 cup Cornstarch
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup water
Place butter, onion, garlic, celery, carrots into pan and cook on medium heat for 10 min. or till onion is clear. Put 2 1/2 quarts of water, soy sauce, pepper, and beef base in stockpot start heating. Once it boils, add meat and cooked vegetables. Simmer for about 45 min. for tender meat. Add potatoes and broccoli florets to stockpot, bring to a boil. Add cornstarch to 1 cup of water and stir into your soup until clear. Take pot off the heat, let stand 10 min., and serve with French bread.
