Vegetable Beef Soup 9 Recipe

  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1 onion, chopped (medium)
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 8 ounces tomato sauce
  • 2 quarts water or less
  • 1 tablespoon beef bouillon granules
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup thinly chopped carrots
  • 1 cup whole kernel corn
  • 1 cup lima beans
  • 1 tablespoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons salt
Brown beef. Drain and set aside. Melt butter in large Dutch oven and stir in flour until bubbly. Add water, beef bouillon, Worcestershire, salt, pepper and tomato sauce. Stir until boiling. Stir in beef, onion, celery, carrots, corn and beans. Stir frequently and cook about an hour.
