Homemade Vegetable Soup Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 quarts tomatoes
  • 1 can corn
  • 1 package frozen okra (small pkg)
  • 4 potatoes (large)
  • 1 onion (large)
  • 1 can green beans
  • 1 can green peas
  • 3 stalks celery
  • 1 quarter head of cabbage
  • salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste
Directions
Peel potatoes and chop up. Chop onion, celery and cabbage and put into a large pot. Cook until they are nearly done. Add all the rest of the vegetables and cook on low heat for about 3 hours. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste.
