Bean Stew (Slow Cooker) Recipe

  • 2 cups split peas
  • 4 cups chicken stock
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 can Kidney Beans, Rinsed
  • 1 can black beans, rinsed
  • 1 potato, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 can tomatoes with garlic and basil
  • 1 cup baby carrots, chopped
  • 1 cup broccoli, chopped
  • salt, pepper to taste
Chop veggies and toss into slow cooker. Add beans, broth, water salt and pepper. Cook on low 7-9 hours.


Switch lentils for split peas

Add cooked hot sausage
