Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon seasoning salt
  • 1 packet dry onion soup mix
  • 6 cups water
  • 1 can tomato sauce (8 oz can)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 can diced tomatoes (14 oz can)
  • 1 can corn, drained
  • 2 cups carrots, sliced
  • 4 stalks celery, diced
  • 1 cup cauliflower, florets

In a large pot, brown ground beef and onion until no longer pink; drain.

Add spices and onion soup mix.

Stir in water, tomato sauce, soy sauce and vegetables. Bring to a boil.

Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 1 hour, until vegetables are tender.
