Beer Cheese Soup 3 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 pint half and half
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1 can beer (12 ounce can)
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, grated
  • salt, pepper, garlic powder to taste
Directions
Melt butter in large saucepan. Add flour and cook. Blend with wire whip until smooth. While continuing to stir, slowly add (one half at a time) broth, beer, celery and seasoning. Cook over low heat until thick and creamy. Add the cheese, stir to melted. If too thick add more cream or broth. Top with popcorn.
