Slow Cooker Homemade Chili Recipe

This slow cooker chili is ideal for any one looking for something to warm them up on a cold winter day.

  • 3 pounds Ground Beef
  • 2 - 16 ounce cans Kidney beans, undrained
  • 1/2 onion - large, chopped
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 cup green peppers, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons chili powder
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 can tomato juice (46 oz. )
  • 2 teaspoons cumin
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
Container: Large bowl for mixing

  • Brown ground beef; drain fat & put in crockpot.
  • Add onion, green pepper, garlic, tomatoes, kidney beans, salt, chili powder, pepper and cumin. Stir to combine.
  • Cover and simmer for 4-6 hours. Enjoy!
