Custard Noodle Pudding Recipe

  • 1 pound fine egg noodles
  • 1/4 pound butter or margarine
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1 cup dry cottage cheese
  • 6 ounces cream cheese
  • 5 eggs
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
Boil noodles, drain. Put noodles back in pot and add butter, stir until melted. Add sugar raisins, both cheeses. Mix well. In a large bowl, beat eggs and add milk. Stir well then pour it into noodle mixture. Mix into a smooth consistency. Pour into a greased 9 x 13" pan (or into 2 smaller pans, if you wish to freeze pudding for another time). Bake 1 1/4 hours at 350.
