Ingredients
1 head cabbage (large head)
1 onion (large)
1 bell pepper (large)
Dressing Mix
1 cup Sugar
1 cup Wesson oil (any cooking oil)
2 tablespoons salt
1 tablespoon celery seed
1 tablespoon mustard seed
Directions
Chop cabbage, onion, and pepper and mix in large mixing bowl. Mix ingredients for dressing, stirring well. Bring to a rolling boil and pour over vegetables. Mix well and place in refrigerator for four hours. (I put mine in refrigerator over-night.) Be sure to cover tightly. Keeps indefinitely. Side note: Pouring boiling dressing changes the enzymes in the cabbage making it easier to digest.
