24 HOUR VEGETABLE SALAD Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 heads shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 package frozen peas (small bag)
  • 1 pint Hellmans mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 6 ounces grated cheddar cheese
  • 8 strips crumbled bacon or 1 jar of Bacos
Directions
Layer first 5 ingredients in a 9 X 13 pan. Spread mayo on top. Sprinkle sugar, cheese and bacon on top of mayo. Cover with saran wrap and refrigerate for 24 hours. Serves 12.
