Strawberry Pretzel Surprise Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 6 tablespoons melted butter
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 20 ounces Cool Whip
  • 2 packages strawberry Jell-O (3 oz pkg)
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 package frozen strawberries (16 oz pkg)
Directions
Mix pretzels, butter and sugar. Coat 9x13 pan with cooking spray. Pat pretzels mixture into pan. Bake 350° for 10 minutes. Cool.

For filling, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Fold in Cool Whip. Spread over cooled crust.

For topping, dissolve jello in boiling water. Stir in strawberries. Refrigerate until thickened.

Spoon strawberry mixture over cream cheese mixture. Refrigerate 3-4 hours.
