Chicken Tetrazzini Recipe

  • 2 cups chicken, cooked
  • 2 cups white sauce
  • 1 cup thin spaghetti, broken into pieces
  • 1 cup mushrooms
  • 2/3 cup parmesan cheese
  • salt & pepper
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 1/2 cups Cracker Crumbs
  • White Sauce
  • 4 tablespoons margarine
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 cups milk
Mix together all ingredients except margarine and cracker crumbs and put in casserole dish; top with cracker crumbs, browned in 1 stick of margarine. Bake for 45 minutes at 350. White sauce: Melt margarine in saucepan over low heat. Blend in flour, salt . Add milk all at once. Cook quickly, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and bubbles. Remove from heat when it bubbles.
