Cream Pie 12 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 cup cream or half and half
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 egg whites, beaten
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • baked pie shell
Directions
Use at least a 3 qt saucepan for this as it is fluffy. Beat egg whites, fold in sugar and cornstarch. Stir into boiling milk-cream mixture stirring constantly until thickened. Add vanilla and pour into baked pie shell.
