Chicken Fried Steak 11 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 pounds Cubed or Round Steak
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 cup fine cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup fat
  • Salt and Pepper
Directions
Pound cube or pieces of round steak thoroughly. Mix in eggs and milk. Dip serving size pieces of meat into egg mixture, then in cracker crumbs. Handle carefully so coating stays on. Brown on both sides in hot fat. Season to taste. Cover tightly and cook over very low heat for 45-60 minutes. Serves 6.
