Sandwich Spread Recipe

  • 3 green pepper
  • 6 Red Peppers
  • 3 - 6 green tomatoes
  • 3 onions
  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 1 cup prepared mustard
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • 1 pint Miracle Whip
Grind the peppers, green tomatoes, and onions. Add salt and let set for 30 minutes. Drain. Add the rest of the ingredients except for the Miracle Whip. Cook it for 30 minutes slowly (so it does not burn). Let cool. Add Miracle whip and serve spread on bread for a sandwich in place of just Miracle Whip.
