Raisin Sauce for Ham Recipe

  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 3/4 cups water
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
Boil raisins in water 5 minutes.

Add sugar mixed with cornstarch, spices and salt. Cook, stirring until thickened. Blend in vinegar.
