Pumpkin Butter 8 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 can pumpkin puree (16 ounce can)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves or allspice
Directions
Combine pumpkin, brown sugar, honey, lemon juice, and spices in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring frequently. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes or until thickened. Remember to stir occasionally. Cool mixture slightly and store in an airtight contained. Will keep in refrigerator for several weeks. Can be served on muffins or crackers. Makes 2 C.
