Creamy Sausage and Egg Casserole Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 1/2 cups seasoned croutons
  • 2 pounds sausage, browned, drained
  • 8 ounces shredded cheese
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 1/2 cups milk
  • 3/4 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 can milk

Layer croutons, sausage and cheese in a 9x13 inch pan.

Mix eggs, milk and ground mustard; pour over the top or layers in pan. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Mix soup and milk together; spread over top.

Bake 350° for 1 hour uncovered.

A breakfast casserole perfect for your guests. This one is made the night before so you can enjoy your coffee the next morning and relax. Great with green chilies added in, if you like it that way.
